From an idea to a foundation : How it all began

Von der Idee zur Mubea Stiftung

In 2010, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.2 struck Haiti. More than 315,000 people lost their lives and over 1 million Haitians were left homeless.

 

Mubea hilft was born out of our desire to provide sustainable support for victims. On the occasion of our 100th anniversary in 2016, we transformed this initiative into the Mubea hilft Foundation—with a total endowment of 1 million euros. Thanks to donations from our employees and the company, we are able to provide long-term support for significant aid projects.
