10% Weight Reduction

Turning lightweight design into reality is an important element of our product development. Given increasing scarcity of all resources, the issue of lightweight design is assuming major significance around the world. 

This offers Mubea great opportunities and therefore we want to develop an average lightweight potential of 10% for our product groups [in comparison to the 2006 design standard] by 2010. 

Furthermore our efforts to achieve lightweight design potential are in line with the requirement to reduce CO₂ emissions in the automotive sector.
