Camshafts

Camshafts and Valve Springs are valve train components. The valve train controls the gas or charge exchange in combustion engines based on the reciprocating principle. The camshaft rotates in the valve’s axial motion around the longitudinal axis via an eccentric cam. The valve springs are responsible for ensuring a frictional connection between the valve and cam over the entire engine speed range. High-tensile materials and streamlined production processes save installation space and costs and make it possible to reduce the weight on the cylinder head by up to 10%.
